I'm kinda disappointed that manifest-cam isn't working. Rick Lemmons, our internet-web cam guru, has alot on his plate with everything else going on. I'll try and see what he says. Competition starts tomorrow for 4-way. The poor Intermediate teams have to be ready for a 6:30am wheels up! They will do 2 rounds before us Advanced and Open teams even have to arrive tomorrow. Our arrival time is 8:30. Snatch force force related to acceleration of the deployment system related to the velocity of the load. The PC slows the canopy down until it reached line stretch and the load accelerates it back to the same velocity as the load. There have been so many hugs given out the past 2 days that a wuffo would have thought there was a love-fest going on here at Nat's! The first plane was up before sunrise this morning. It was beautiful....the sun's rays peeking up from behind Mt. San Jacinto and the Otter racing down the runway in front of it. Absolutely beautiful. I would have taken a picture, but hey....I had just woken up and was on my way to the wonderful hot showers! As for Jake....well, he and Deuce had a few pitures last night and well....by the time Jake got to our table he was quite plastered....
