Ion01 2 #1 August 5, 2008 For general free fall in the standard belly first position, would a free fly suit make it more difficult or easier? If you read articles on the net you get opposing views. So what do those with experience here say?

millertimeunc 0 #4 August 5, 2008 Honestly, it's more down to how well you fly your body than the particular suit. I've done plenty of RW jumps in my FF suit, and the only thing different is the puzzled looks on peoples' faces when they can't find the grippers on my legs and arms. The best things in life are dangerous.
AggieDave 6 #5 August 5, 2008 You can do RW with a FF suit, even one with out grippers; however, I'm a firm believer in dressing for success. This is especially important as you're starting out and trying to learn how to fly your body reasonably proficiently. You can go off roading in a Camaro and you can go road racing in a Jeep, but you could try off roading in the Jeep and racing the Camaro and probably be more successful.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
