kelel01 1 #51 September 7, 2005 Whether or not I owe beer is a secret. But i had a fantastic weekend!
 sharimcm 0 #52 September 7, 2005 2:0:0 Went to Eloy twice to try to "make friends" but no one wanted to talk. I left unhappy looking for a new home DZ. No jumps either... This weekend sucked. My most memorable jump there was a SUCCESSFUL raft dive out of SDC's Otter. Great peeps and great jumps there. Thanks to the freefly organizers that I got to jump with, Sporto, Marshall & Matty. I bummed I didn't get a chance to jump with Mike W though. Had to come back early though to take care of some things at the home DZ. That stuff stinks! 103; 23; lots 103: It IS possible to do a successful Mr. Bill dive on a Velocity 103! Proved on a low pass in front of a full otter. That was freakin cool! I was the one who hung on. We think we were loading it just over 3.5! Stalled it out before dropping off for the dead air feeling. That was one load. 23: The number of jumps I made over the past few days. Highlights were my 1000th, a 9 way freefly dive with two tubes. Several CRW dives building stacks by the clouds. The Mr. Bill. Learning to backtrack. Watching 20 dollar bills fly out of DanO's pocket on a freefly dive!!!!!! The video of that dive! : And yeah... I bought a lot of beer this weekend.
 Ron 10 #61 September 8, 2005 Place 7th at the Nationals.... not beer, done it before. But this time it was VERY close and a tight race. Several very good teams. We wanted 7th and we got it....We also wanted a 17+ 10 round average....But with the top teams only turning in a 21 over 10, we will take the 15.7 with 170 training jumps. We had two bad rounds, and lost 5 points to Video. But we are pretty happy. Fury with World Class PC John McIver fought very hard. Rumor has that they had 300+ jumps with Dan and Kirkby and only 50 with John. They did very well. Fury lost one to Video and had two busts. Synchronicity....Well they did really great. They had about 150-160 training jumps and really rocked. BIG props to their tail Becky.....She lived in LA. and she told me that her home is filled with water. WOW all that on her mind and she still performed great. Thunder with former Airspeed member Chad did really well. They lost two to video and had two busts. Select had a few really great rounds and I bet startled Sync. The really big news was Mass Defiance...They came from almost nowhere onto the top of the score board...They were very clean and crisp.
