skydivermom 0 #26 September 6, 2005 If anyone looks to Dr. Phil to take care of them, they are going to be highly disappointed. He is not about taking care of anyone, but is all about offering tools that will hopefully enable folks to take care of themselves. I appreciate him for telling people what they probably need to hear, not what they WANT to hear. I don't agree with everything he says either, but I have tried some of his methods and have had incredible results. Of course, to those who do have a great grip on life ( I didn't). From what you have told me, maybe, I'd better watch him and give him another try. I wish, I had a better 'grip' on life but, I don't. I really don't know of too many folks that really do. I'm willing to try anything, once. As long as it isn't illegal, immoral or fattening! Wait! I'm going to have to back-up a bit on the fattening part. I might try a little of that. I appreciate your in-put. Chuck

You may not think you have a grip on life, but you sure are funny! I hope that if you do decide to watch Dr. Phil you can find something of value to you. He can be pretty funny as well; and his jokes are usually at his own expense, like about baldness or something! Cracks me up.Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

I've always liked to laugh and if I can get others to laugh, it makes me feel good. I've heard that Dr. Phil joked about his baldness and was not shy about being humorous. I guess, I'm just going to have to give him one more try!Chuck
