LOS ANGELES - The son of TV psychologist Dr. Phil has proposed to former Playboy playmate Erica Dahm, one of the triplet Dahm sisters.

Jay McGraw, 26, got engaged to Dahm in Dallas, Chandler Hayes, a spokesman for Dr. Phil McGraw, said Monday.

Jay McGraw designed the 5-carat diamond, emerald and platinum engagement ring.

I have GOT to start reading Dr. Phils books. The search for knowledge and all that junk.

If you got caught with her sister, you could use the "She tricked me..." defense.

You could except their Mother had them tattooed when they were babies so that she could tell them apart.

YES! I know a little about the Dahm Girlies. ;):ph34r:B|

Oddly enough, there were no visible tattoos in the pictures that I've seen of them. Those pics show the angle that I was interested in. :)

You can make a lot more money by telling people what they want to hear. You'd go broke telling them the truth.

You're absolutely correct and I agree with you. I just can't handle that guy. He reminds me of a snake oil salesman.

Since you don't watch him you may not have gotten that little joke. He asks his guests quite frequently "How's that working for ya?"

He is always getting made fun of about that. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of that so you didn't think I was just trying to be a smart alek:D

Oh, heck no!:D I don't take things too seriously... especially on BF. I'm sorry but, I just can't bring myself to watch him. Thanks for letting me in on his little 'joke'. I just question someone who makes it 'big' in another state after having his license pulled in his home state. If, I'm not mistaken, the reason it was pulled, was for sexual harrassment. :o Now, he's famous... so, it doesn't matter any more.
Sorry for the rant. :$

I would really be interested in more information on that. I do like Dr. Phil (he has helped change my life) but it's always fun to have the dirt!;)

I read it in our local paper awhile back. The story didn't really go into detail, as I recall. Wish, I had more dirt.:| I might not care for him but, you like him and you feel he has helped you. To me, that's good. Maybe, I'm a bit of a skeptic. :S

Probably the most famous tv joke ever.
A guy comes into see a doctor. He says, "Doc, every time I do this, it hurts." The doctor replies, "Well, don't do that."

Phil made a career out of that. "Dr. Phil, my relationships suck because I always pick the wrong people and it hurts." "Well, don't do that."

Of course, the first time that I saw the doc say that, the doc was on a re-run of Hee-Haw.

I think, the originator of that joke was Sid Ceasar. As I explained to the lady, previously. If, someone else likes him... fine. I think, personally, he's full of shit up to his ears. I notice, he 'plays' people and sets them up, like someone telling someone's fortune. To me, the guy's a side-show act. If, someone gains some good for that... that's cool.

[not personal, just clicked the last entry to reply to]
I always found it strange that so many people have been helped by Dr. Phil and his truths..

I have rarely heard him say something I didn't agree with, although we differ GREATLY on the drug war, he pretty much tells people how it is. Thing is.. I HIGHLY doubt he EVER says anything people don't already know.. but people are so self destructive that apparently it NEEDS to be said aloud.

I think Dr. P is a fabulous dose of reality on TV and when I want to feel better about myself, I watch his show.. all those SAD people who can't figure out how to stop RUINING their own lives..
I'm sorry but it makes me feel like a master of my own destiny.. and I am. How's that workin' for me? :PFabulously!!!

Well if, you've bought his tapes and read his books... that's from 'Bob 'n Tom'. They parody him a lot. I think we have so many folks who kind of feel that, they have to be 'taken care of'. Too many folks are looking for that 'magic' pill or the person who is going to come along and make it all better. Thus, we have Dr. Phil, Oprah and all the others. To me, they capitalize off those who need that type of thing. Hey! If it works for folks, then I guess it's not all bad. I don't guess, they are doing any harm.
