In the world of mathematics especially - one has already learned the rudiments of real analysis in a 2 dimentional level and then he must go through all the bullshit in 3 dimensions? In my case, I think it was the prof - he was too old. It's not that he didn't care.... He was just too old, and I was interested in Ring theory. So I just lost all interest by then. Oh well...
