Connecting with people, and why it matters.

Recommended Posts

Because it does.

How many of these people have you met?

How many of them matter?

How many of them tell you, when you see them, "I love you" ?

Care for people. Be prepared to be scared when you matter to them because of what you have posted.

Be ready to recieve hugs, and to give them.

The internet matters, maggots. Submit.

I love the internet.

I am blessed with friends.

JP

I agree with you - met my husband in a chat room 7 years ago ;)

But... the lack of face-to-face contact in internet conversations does lend this medium to over sensationalism which I find a bit much sometimes.

But I've met bunches of great people off here - actually, come to think of it, I've never met someone on here that I wouldn't want to see again B|

You included - you coming down to Perris the end of the month?

Fuck you, you fucking fuck fuck.

I sure hope that's a good scotch buzz you're working on. If it's not, please forward some of whatever you're on to my snail mail address.

PS - My drinking coach said to tell you - don't forget to eat.

Noice!

Just some red wine, and I just started.

Australian boxed Merlot.

Byiotch, remember that Muenkel load, about 4 years ago? Don't talk to me about connecting with folks via the internet.

Sebazz and Corndog, Oh my!

I agree. It's helped me meet some people I might not have come across otherwise. It's a valuable tool that then helps you connect in real life. The downside comes when it replaces your real life. Perspective is key.

You and your man are perfect examples!

Wonderful, educated, fun people to skydive with. Like the vonNovacks!

A respect can develop that transcends politics. You and I are fairly differing in opinions, as me and Lewmonst may be, but that does not stop us from opening our homes to one-another.

We've broken bread (that was one funny freaking dinner) and bonded. Come stay with us for the Byron boogie.

That's really what I was thinking about. My meet friends, my boogie friends, my dz.com friends, and how there's a place to stay.

The internet doesn't matter, the skydiving friends I've happened to have met due to the internet do matter. With all of those friends and would be friends, though, the most important person I've ever met was found on my local DZ introduced to me by one of my students, not via the internet.

With that JP, hopefully before too much longer we'll get the chance to see each other again. We have more in common now then we ever did.;)

Yes, you get the same bed, and I'll be sure to not change the sheets.

Oh Frenchy, I got a picture for you too.

Yup, I'm going to hijack the thread and make it all about me. Why? Cause I can and I know that Deuce loves me and is okay with that;)
