lisamariewillbe 1 #14 September 14, 2005 alot of reasons A Even the shows that are geared towards children today and even commericals on childrens networks in my opinion are not what I feel are in my childrens best interests to watch. B. The cost of cable is to high, its approx 80 dollars here for avg cable. I can buy my children movies like the wiggles or veggie tales for approx 7 bucks a piece and it is used as a reward system in my home. Not to mention for 14 bucks we can belong to netflixs and I can rent the seasons of shows I prefer C. They get enough education at the DZ cant over expose them to raunch Edit to add... I hear ya (pun unintended) Does your TV have a parental channel lock-out? Most newer TV's do. You could just lock out the channels you don't want your kids flipping the remote to... but I figure you already thought of it in addition to all the other child-proofing methods, that I need to learn in the coming months...
