FrEaK_aCcIdEnT 0 #1 September 14, 2005 This may get legnthy... I screwed up some parts for the first time ever in my almost 6 year stint at my hell hole job. cost them close to 100K. Now i got 3 days off unpaid as the punishment. (No im not going to bitch about the punishment, i think i got off light) My friend is coming in town this weekend and will be here all next week. So me getting time off is kick ass since there is a good reason for me to have the time off. only 1 problem... I have been trying to convience him to go to the DZ with me for his first tandem. He is going with me next week when i have the time off. Here is the shitty thing. The money that i wont receive for those 3 days was the money i was going to use for my level 3 AFF again. Here is my question to you. Should I go ahead and use the credit card for this 1 meesly lil jump or should i just take him up there for his tandem and be bummed out that i wont get to make my passing level 3 jump? Damn moral delima. u guys make the decision for me. ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD! DoNt MiNd ThE tYpOs, Im LaZy On CoRrEcTiOnS!
skymama 37 #2 September 14, 2005 If you will be able to pay off the jump on your credit card by the time your statement comes, then I say go ahead and use it for your level 3.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

FrEaK_aCcIdEnT 0 #4 September 14, 2005 ima tig welder and a vacuum furnace tech. I remanufacture airplane engine airfoils. I slightly overtemped some parts in a furnace.. i overcooked them by 200ºF there were 17 of them in the furnace. I forgot to program the correct program in the furnace and instead ran the last program in it which was a bakeout of the furnace. got up to 2300ºF for over an hour before i noticed. Each part is roughly 5K each for a new one. Ive seen over $480,000 of parts suspended in puddles of metal one time. I think he only got 3 days off also. Makes my punishment seem kinda harsh when i look at it that way. ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD! DoNt MiNd ThE tYpOs, Im LaZy On CoRrEcTiOnS!
