BillyVance 35 #1 September 15, 2005 Well guys, with the baby on the way, the wife and I had to give up the fun car for the family car... I'm sure you'll know which is which... Hey, at least I'm not tempted to tear down the highway at 120+ mph any more! NWFlyer 2 #2 September 15, 2005 Oh, please, infants don't take up that much space. Surely you could weld the car seat in the space right behind the seats on the MR2. It'd only get a little squished when you put the top down."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

ACMESkydiver 0 #7 September 15, 2005 Get a Suburban! Get a Suburban! It seats my family of 5 plus 3 extras nicely! Or it can seat a whole Caravan load from the east field back to the airport...but don't ask me how I know that, that wouldn't be legal to drive with 12 skydivers sitting on each other in the back of my Suburban watching 'The Matrix' with the volume blasting and the windows down cruising through the center of town yelling "WOOOOO-HOOOOOOO!!!" out the windows at the old folks shopping for antiques.... Um, or something like that! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Had to laugh when I got to a stop light & saw her vanity plates which read VIBE R8R. Don Why is it so funny that she reviews cars and has specialized on one model. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

BillyVance 35 #13 September 16, 2005 QuoteDude, you could have gone "family" with style, maybe a 340 hp Audi S6 station wagon? Blues, Dave I'm pretty damn sure that one is out of our budget. We went for a sub $20,000 vehicle, and one kid is definitely all we're gonna have, since one of us is gonna get our tubes tied..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
