happythoughts 0 #3 September 17, 2005 The last jump that I know of, he shouldn't have been on. He landed on the runway in shorts and skinned himself up pretty well. For a while, he was doing pretty well. He quit jumping, moved to Tenn, lost some weight, and got married. Once we were talking and he said that he was doing some day labor jobs and living in his van on the dz. He told me, "When I got out of the army, I had two job skills. I could blow the bridge up or I could blow the bridge down." He had a sense of humor on a bad day. I guess he'd pushed it too hard, too long.
