skymedic 0 #1 September 17, 2005 Any one have it? I wanna see a 4 way conversation happen. Since I've gotten tiger I've only just gotten a camera to use. It seems like a neat idea...I'd just like to see if it really works as advertised ya know?? Anne and I do use the audio part of it when she's at work and I'm at home. But wanna try out the V portion of that IchatAV. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

murrays 0 #4 September 18, 2005 Do you have a camcorder with Firewire? If you do you can use that.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
riddler 0 #5 September 18, 2005 Hmm - actually I do. Might be interesting to try. Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
RevJim 0 #6 September 18, 2005 QuoteHmm - actually I do. Might be interesting to try. Every time I try and use my Sony through firewire for a webcam I get nothing but headaches. The firewire works great for transfering video, but for the web cam use, I've found that using the usb works MUCH better. Just remember to turn on usb streaming in the camcorders' menu... You will NOT find a clearer web cam out there. It rocks for this use! It's your life, live it! skymedic 0 #7 September 18, 2005 Jim on my iMac my Sony camcorder works great with firewire. Also iChat AV will not work with a USB cam from what I understand. Do you use a mac with yours?? or a pEE CEE Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
RevJim 0 #8 September 18, 2005 Ahh, in that case, kindly disregard my comment, though for those using the cam for other applications.... Nope, no mac here, just my observations....It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
