swedishcelt 0 #1 September 19, 2005 [Yes I googled. I got a thousand sites.] What companies or places/ sites have you dealt with successfully before? This is for a relative who is going through a lot right now and I have no way of seeing them for awhile.

swedishcelt 0 #3 September 19, 2005 I tried that!! I guess I am looking for either a wine and fine chocolate or pure stress relief type of thing. I have no idea what is good out there. There are a thousand sites to choose from!!!
mcneill79 0 #4 September 19, 2005 I use Red Envelope sometimes, but my coworkers sister works there and gets me a nice discount
tigra 0 #5 September 19, 2005 Do you have to order online? If there's a store or wine shop near you that you like, why not ask them about putting together a basket and shipping it? You could even pick the items to put in there! It wouldn't surprise me if Trader Joe's did something similar, and any of the large department stores probably would too. I know Marshall Fields (local to the Chicago area) has a really good wine and gourmet foods department.
swedishcelt 0 #6 September 19, 2005 there is absolutely NOTHING near me I thought of that but I would have to wait several days.

NWFlyer 2 #8 September 19, 2005 Send a ginormous fortune cookie! http://www.goodfortunes.com/ They actually taste really good and they're a big kick. You can write whatever you want on the fortune. One of these would cheer me right up. Have I mentioned that I've been feeling a little down lately? Edit to add another place that makes great food baskets (but the fortune cookies are much cooler!): http://www.mrsbeasleys.com/"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
