Daizey 0 #1 September 21, 2005 I'm not sure if you can do this if you don't have gmail (although if you don't have it, ask anyone theres a million invites out there-plus now as long as you have a cell phone you can get gmail) Anyway, through gmail, under new features, there is a customize google option where you can add things to the google homepage such as news, sports, etc. There's also an option that says create a section. If you type skydiving into the search box it allows you to add a spot on your google page that gives you the latest news that has any of the key skydiving words in it such a skydive, skydiving, parachute, etc. You can do this with other topics too but of course skydiving was the first one I triedSo far its pulled up stories for me on an incident in australia a few days ago and a birdman article.... See attatched to see what it looks like I thought it was a nifty little thing so I figured I'd pass it along for those who don't know about it... *daizey*
calledisrael 0 #2 September 21, 2005 on gmail, i can also get it to send me any article or news story that appears with the word skydiving in it. it's called a google alert. they all appear in my inbox, and it has proven to be pretty thorough. life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
