BillyVance 34 #26 September 20, 2005 QuoteWell if the topic is shifting to Hot all female Bands.. The absolute ultimate was: The Runaways Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West and Cherie Currie. So... we've got: The Go-Go's The Bangles Bananarama The Runaways Any others? And I'm talking about rock and roll bands, not the hip hop shit like Salt n Pepa... yuck..."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

sinker 0 #29 September 20, 2005 not a cassette, an 8-track, seriously... there were two... Saturday Night Fever soundtrack Boston's Don't Look Back But man I hated how the songs would fade out as the track would get ready to jump from track 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and so forth... some of the younger folks on here are probably going, wtf is he talking about? -the artist formerly known as sinker

BillyVance 34 #32 September 20, 2005 I would probably wear out an AC/DC greatest hits CD if it included Back In Black, Hells Bells, Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, For Those About To Rock, among others... jumpchikk 0 #34 September 20, 2005 Kool & the Gang- Celebration was my first favorite song ever... I would wait around for it to come on the radio and my dad finally bought me the cassette tape. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts- I would dress up like her, wanted to be her every Halloween. Michael Jackson's-Thriller cassette tape... wore it out. The soundtrack from Footloose-reminds me of YMCA camp. And of course, who could forget the "We are the World" song??... I have it on vinyl.

Ashtanga 0 #41 September 20, 2005 Ok. I have to admit that I grew up with two older sisters 8 and 6 years older than me. So part of my youth was constantly listening to their music. What stands out from then was Prince "Purple Rain" movie and soundtrack, MJ "Thriller", also Journey and I can go on and on.
