sounds like me but on saturday..... i know i can do 20 in a weekend if i want to, but that's just to much work.... and money..... unless it was an all you can jump boogie.... never been to one of those...

I can't afford a whole lot and I was fortunate to be able to get there and make that one jump on Sunday since I was not paying for it.

Anyway, this weekend is an all you can jump weekend and if I can find a rig, I will be jumping my ass off.

Might want to give Skydive New Mexico a ring. Shorter ferry then to Eloy, and I know that they only have a turbine like once a year so they might love you forever if you pop in with one. :)

Now THERE'S a thoughtful suggestion...goodstuff PhreeZone...

Any dz in the US want a Super Otter for the weekend?

We need to move the plane out of Hurricane Rita's path and it would be nice to fly a few loads while we are sitting around. Call Steve at 281-369-3337.

Thanks everyone!

You always wanted to come hang out near San Francisco, right? ;) Wether permitting, I bet you'd get more than a few loads at the Byron Boogie.. :)

BA would win hands down. It's a short nose Super Otter. Is about 400 lbs lighter than the long nose versions and has brand new -27 engines on it. It was funny seeing it race against the Eloy -34 Otter during the Texas 2 Step in Dallas.

Blue skies,

Jim

I remember sitting in one of the Casas while it was picking up speed down the runway for take-off at Quincy, WFFC 1997, and here comes Mike Mullin's King Air speeding by on the other side of the runway!

I don't think the Casa pilot was too happy about that. :D

Well, then send it up to Byron just so we can see it in action!
