I'm going to Chili's for lunch with my best friend. I'm so tempted to order a drink.

edit to add: I don't think I really could get "caught" since the company buys beers and passes them out from time to time on friday afternoons.

We have some old gin in the cabinet in the kitchen, but hoy at drinking something that tastes like pine trees.

Ive had a drink or 2 at lunch, not often though, but have never been caught nor do I think my boss would have complained. Didnt get drunk and dont think I´d do that

Yes, I've done it. Back when I was practicing in Los Angeles it was not uncommon to go across the street to Casey's to get my drink on at lunch. Usually, the drinking came at the behest of and from the wallet of my boss.

Yes I have done drank at lunch, usually with the boss, I don't like to do it regularly though because only a couple of drinks mixed with food makes me sleepy.

Our company also use to bring around Margirita's for Cinco de Mayo.

During my college summer co-op job, I had the coolest boss. I was underage at the time, but on Fridays, we usually had 2 hour lunches. One week we all went out to a restaurant that had an outdoor buffet and beer. I'm 20 at the time, and boss asks me "wanna beer?" I stare at him for a couple seconds, then say yeah...

Same here. I had beer at lunch once and won't do it again because it made the second half of the day go so slow since I was tired.

Back when I had a good paying job, we used to go to Captain Creams (yes it is a strip club) for lunch on Wed and Fri. every week. Most of the time we would keep it mellow, but there where a few times that we came back and enede up in wrestling matches in the office or shooting so many rubber bands at each other our fingers were sore after.

The boss never seemed to mind as long as we opened enough accoutnts that month. He was all about the money, show him the money and you could get away with anything, and we did.
