Diversgodown 0 #26 September 26, 2005 QuoteQuoteActually I think the package is the same. at least the 3 movie deal which is what i have. 3 movies for $17.95 I think it is. Which is what BB was offering. When I signed up earlier this year, they were a few dollars cheaper than netflix ($16, rather than $18), and they had (maybe they still have) coupons for two free in-store rentals per month, which sweetens the pot a bit. Eventually, Netflix will lose, BB will do the same thing they did with local rental stores - put them out of business. And it will be back to square 1. Anybody want to help me start a movie-on-demand Internet download video service? I figure we can have a good go for a few years until BB gets into that market too. That's a good idea if I had any computer skills at all I'd be in. that's not a bad idea. You should erase that I sent a link to BB for this thread. don't want them getting wind of that there Ider. ***Glory Favors the Bold***

GogglesnTeeth 6 #30 September 26, 2005 I used Netfliix last year, and I have recently switched to Blockbuster Online for this year. Here is my .02. Netflix: Faster DVD turn around. $19.95 a month for 3 at a time. Less damaged DVD's showing up in the mail. Blockbuster Online: $14.95 a month for 3 at a time and 2 free instor rentals a month. More damaged or unplayable DVD's. Turn around time is slower. I stick with blockbuster for now because of the 2 free in store rentals a month, and it's $5 cheaper, but I had better service with netflix.Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!" kelpdiver 2 #31 September 26, 2005 Why do any of you support a company (BallBusters) that is responsible for self censorship by many directors? They account for a large portion of the market, won't accept unrated or NC-17 type movies, so many films get altered to meet. Even though the majority of Unrated DVD releases of R movies adds no value, I still find their influence offensive.

GTAVercetti 0 #33 September 27, 2005 QuoteBlockbuster has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I URGE anyone that can rent somewhere else to do it. Blockbuster has been at the top so long they figure nothing can touch them so their attitude is WHO GIVES A FUCK!!!! Spread the word. RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Now appearing in the new issue of "No shit" magazine. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

heidihagen 0 #35 September 27, 2005 am i the only one the rents from a vending machine thingy? i don't rent enough to make netflix worth it (but love the service). but yeah, blockbuster sucks. they continue to charge my boyfriend late fees everytime he rents a movie because he seems to think it returns itself after the credits roll. 5$ for any movie rental is insane. i highly recommend the vending machine thingy.. i probably spend 5$/year on movies (i don't rent that often)i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
