Adopt an Animal--make room for furry Katrina victims

Recommended Posts

I'm exhausted with my new 30 lb 10 mo old Beagle/Boxer mix. But, he's sweet as can be and came from an abusive family previously. It didn't take him long to figure out he'd be spoiled rotten from now on--bone in every room, 3 beds and tons of toys:P

I've been thinking about adopting a doggie (but with two kitties that are my babies, it's been a long-thought out process) and with the shelters needing more room for Katrina victims, we decided to really start looking.

I'm so in love. He gets along REALLY well with the kitties and the kitties know they are still boss:P

Here's my new sweetest thing: (picture taken at the shelter)
Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

A guy who came out with a Tandem Student this weekend brought his "rescued" dog.. It was a great looking shepard mix.. The dog came home with him after a supply truck run to LA.. It was Very Well behaved and loveable..

Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!

Of our 3 girls 1 was from the shelter, one was abandoned on a neighbor's doorstep, and the other was roaming stray (probably dropped off-we couldn't find the family) and they are all great. I wouldn't mind having a pure white english bulldog (Go Georgia) but for pure pet potential, pound mutts are best.
I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
