The Word of the Day : an educational thread.

Recommended Posts

crepuscular is a word used to describe animals that are active during twilight (either dusk or dawn). Within the heading of crepuscular, there are two sub-categories:
matutinal and vespertine, denoting animals active in the morning (dawn) and evening (dusk) respectively.

Never let it be said that DZ.com has no educational value.

So what happens when a matutinal tries to date a vespertine?

no one knows, it is kind of a Romeo and Juliette thing. They end up killing themselves and the world never sees the results.:P:D

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

then what does nocturnal mean?

Nocturnal: adj. when used in reference to skydivers, describes alcohol intake, dining establishment being overrun, fire, and many forms of shenanagins (both on foot and motorized) taking place between the hours of sunset and sunrise! :D
