My wife and I rented that movie. Yuuuuck! We both thought, it was the most boring piece o' crap we'd ever (almost) watched. We both fell asleep about 45-min. into it. Long and dragged out. Best 'sleep aid', ever! I gave it 2 - thumbs DOWN!

I loved that movie! It is near the end... She has had enough of him, not commiting and all that, and he leaves, when he comes back, that is when he says the line. Probably about five minutes from the end.

It's about 1/2 hour into it. He gets fired and they're (jerry and dorothy) on the elevator out of the building of the office.

Great flick I think. If it is watched closely, you may see a lot of significant things that are good lessons in the movie. There is more to it than meets the eye. Like putting heart into your home, not work (or vice-versa). Never shoplift "the pootie" from a single mom. There is just a strong ethical undertone to it and how things can progress if they are approached with the right intention.

I agree, movie ate ass. Then again my idea of a romantic movie is Billy Madison or Anchorman .... dont like the standard chick flicks

I really don't mind 'chick flicks'. I've been known to get a little 'chokey' over one. I'm with you! My idea of a romantic movie is, anything with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood. There were definate 'undertones' of romance. You see, a lot of folks thought those movies were about the violence. 'Something About Mary', was a real 'chick flick'! Sure, it was funny but, the symbolism, was there!:D 'Jerry McGuire', still, sucks buttermilk!

John Wayne could throw me over his lap any day. :$. I hate those movies that ring to much like fairy tales. Anchorman "Your a dirty pirate whore" vs Jerry Maquire "You complete me" Easy choice .... lol

Well... Pilgrim...:D The 'Duke', made some really good movies other than Westerns. 'The Quiet Man'... good flick! i have some cd's of movies he made in the 30's! Good stuff.;)

I don't agree with you on this one ... I like very few chick flicks and this is the better one but I guess if your idea of the good movies is in the 30's that explains it ...lol:Pjk

There were some far better actors/actresses in the 30's and 40's than we have now. I like some of the newer movies... I just like the oder movies better. More was left to the imagination.;) Those just my thoughts.

I like shirley mcLaine and rex harrison alot. Also older movies, well they arent nearly as predictable as newer ones. Men looked handsome and women were classy. And if ya got lucky he became a cave man and spanked her, lol
Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this
