Anyone here ever had it done?

I used to be a non believer but I hurt my knee one time and a skydiver did acupuncture on my ear. He did it in a place where he said would fix my knee. Well, the damn thing drained 30 minutes afterwords after being swollen for a week.

I am a true believer now.

I love it. Seriously, for those nagging little aches and pains from all the abuse we heap on our bodies, this works.

My mom's lower back started catching a few years ago whenever she leaned forward. Just doing little things, like laundry or kissing her ailing dad on the cheek, her back seized up. I took her to Dr. Wu several months ago, and it hasn't bothered her once since.

A 'real' doctor told me I had tendonitis and to wear a brace on my right hand. Braces suck. I went to Dr. Wu, and the brace came off, never to annoy me again.

Hey, THAT many Chinese people can't be wrong. Just don't go to a quack.

Yep...going tomorrow for a regular apointment. I go about once a month for my neck and shoulders. Does wonders for me.

I had it done and it is by far the best thing I have done for my lower back pain.

L4 and L5 are herniated, I did everything I could try with out surgery and the acupuncture was the best.

I would have suggested chiropractic but this is an acupuncture thread.

Once. Had gall bladder pain that was going nonstop for weeks (...come to find out, it was due to prescription medicine). In the meantime, nothing made it go away, except for the acupuncture. Took about 30 minutes, and the pain was gone. Pretty unbelievable.

I used to go every month, great for stress relief and back problems. Allergies and pretty much anything. I love oriental medicin.

Acu-pressure, plants, Homeopathy, Energy work, Reiki...

Well it's funny you post this because i broke my back in a car accedent two years ago and the best healing and stress relief is acupuncture. I just started it and among everything I tried i go once ever two weeks and im off the meds... well chiropracter too.. it rocks more ways than one!
