Who's got the Apple Nano?

I ordered one last week and am still waiting for it? How long did it take for it to come from apple? I heard that the Mini's didn't work well when jumping but that the Nano uses different Tech. does anybody jump with there's and if so have you had any problems with it?

you still purchased one even tho they haven't fixed the breaking/scratching issue?

i would assume they work fine, but why would you want to listen to music while jumping? May want to reference a few threads in skydiving-general

The nano doesn't suffer from altitude or shock effects because it doesn't use a hard drive, it uses flash memory.

That having been said though, you have no business listening to it in freefall or under canopy. Fun for the ride up, but that's about it.

At 24 jumps you don't need that kind of distraction. Hell, I don't need it at almost 500 jumps, although I've taken my iPod on a couple of cross country jumps. It was cute for awhile, but I just don't get that bored under canopy that I need to bring along music.

I bought one for my wife a couple of weeks ago. Sweet piece of technology! Buy a case with a screen protector.

Nice!! I was hoping to have mine today but it doesn't even look like it shipped yet. How long did yours take? What did you get for the etching?

I have used a apple shuffle for about 100 jumps. Never had any problems. Use it on the plane ride, freefall and under canopy. It is a hard to hear it in freefall and unless you have alot of experience would not recomend using undercanopy. Hope this helps...
