unformed 0 #1 October 4, 2005 this and not worry about the consequences ... thank you. it was the greatest retarded idea i've done in my life. yeah, i'm a couple thousands of dollars in debt. Yeah, I'm going home in a week to a lot of problems. But what I've learned on this trip is worth every dime I've spent ... Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. This ad space for sale. gravitational 0 #2 October 4, 2005 I didn't hit the other thread, but did backpack all over europe in 97 (2 weeks) and 98 (3 weeks). The second trip was much cheaper than the first as we (my little brother and I) learned what we should and shouldn't have done. Many stories, rewarding experiences. I'd do it again. Glad you had fun...------ Michael
inzite 0 #3 October 4, 2005 Great to hear about the success story. I'm actually in the process of doing the same thing. I left the US on April 30th, 2004. Today is now October 4th, 2005. Gotta go back one day, just not today. It's been the best experience of my life (and I even landed a good job in Moscow earning more than I ever made as a student in the states - enough to buy my own rig and put in 3-5 jumps a weekend). Just shy of $6000 in debt greet me when I get home, but for 17 months and counting of the greatest learning experience of my life, it's a steal!!! inzite 0 #6 October 4, 2005 Anyway, now that you're back, give us stories. Where? What? With whom? Did you try the mushrooms in Amsterdam? Just don't get your film converted to slides.
unformed 0 #7 October 4, 2005 stories? fuck, i've got a lot. go to sexanddanger.com i didn't go to amsterdam this time around, but i was there two years ago, and yeah, i ate the mushrooms ... but, i'm from florida, and we eat mushrooms all the time ... the craziest shit that happened was waking up in a paramedic tent after eating too much acid at an illegal rave in the middle of nowhere in czech. but you can go to that site and read to your heart's content ... most of it's true, some of its exaggerated, some of it is completely made up ... you can pm me if you want to know what's true and what's not ... three months and i've barely seen a third of europe ... man there's so much out there ...This ad space for sale.
