Point Break

Actually, I think that movie was perfect for Keanu. Basically, he's good in roles where he is supposed to go "whoah!" and have a look of utter confusion on his face a lot.

Of course, the part that had me in hysterics in Point Break was the "I am an FBI Agent!" line. So. Very. Believable.

It's funnier to put yourself in the heads of the actors. Reeves was not really up to real acting at that time and you see a horrible forced delivery of a line, followed by Swayze with an excellent delivery. But he can't do too good a job, or the scene is ruined by the constrast - you can just see Patrick trying to figure out how believable he needs to deliver a line to try and save "every single scene where Keanu Reeves is allowed to open his mouth".

But I do know a few people that talk in real life like the KR character. None of them are bright enough to ever make it into the FBI.

On the plus side, every other actor in the film looked really good in contrast next to KR.

KR has since gotten a lot better, but still, he really should have picked another career.

I'm pretty sure Point Break is what got me interested in jumping when I was 14...at least thats all I can conclude 'cause 14 was when I first called my local dz to try and schedule a tandem and point break came out right about the same time.:P Can't remember any other specific reason I decided to start jumping...

So anyone who I have pissed off since I've started jumping...blame Point Break!

That's twice (at least) today, Remi. If you're gonna get all judgmental on people, at least know that there's no "c" in the word disgusting.

Spelling police out.

Well, I don't go for cooked skin flutes Argh! now I will have that dang vision in my head all day! bleah! Point Break lacks realism lots of movies lack realism. What really scares me is that movie is so old and someone didn't see it? My God Baby where the heck have you been? That is just scary! Keanu Reeves Bill& Ted I'm sorry I can't get past that. Somethings gotta give was acceptable. Matrix was good. That is IMHO-Caress:)
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being
right.

Keanu Reeves is hot. I am a sucker for dark-haired, brown-eyed men. :|

I'm yours!!!!

Does this mean you're coming to the cookout?:|

I'm not sure what cookout you are talking about, but unless it is near Houston, I'll have to kick myself as I say no. Don't get me wrong--you would be well worth traveling to the ends of the universe for, but I need to stay local for a while.

edited to add:
Back to the topic at hand--I watched a bit of Point Break last night. The cinematography on the surfing scenes (the real surfing scenes) was spectacular!
