The video is encoded at 400Kbps which provides a good user experience and full-motion video in a standard-sized streaming video window. At full screen sizes the picture quality is not as high as a standard television broadcast. There can occasionally be issues with local connection speeds that are beyond ESPN's control that can cause the video to stop momentarily or require users to reconnect.
