ccowden 0 #1 October 14, 2005 What readings are used for general pressure readings and trends? What is high? What is low? Middle of the road? I am looking for readings inHg like 29.25, 30.00, 28.50......
tcnelson 1 #2 October 14, 2005 those are inches of mercury. "normal" is 29.92 inches of mercury. that is how high the atmosphere can hold a column of mercury in a vacuum tube."Don't talk to me like that assface...I don't work for you yet." - Fletch NBFT, Deseoso Rodriguez RB#1329

Something to bear in mind, especially if you live somewhere mountainous, is that these readings are not the actual pressure at that location, but are "corrected" to sea level values using a standard formula (which itself may not reflect reality)....
