Broke 0 #1 October 17, 2005 The Good News: I have been saving my money, so I could take a trip to Z-Hills and bang out my AFF. I was planning on going to Z-hills in Feburary that way I don't have to wait as long for the seasion to start up back up here. The Bad News: Today I came into work and my supervisor said "Did you check your email?" Me, "umm not yet, why what's up?" My supervisor, "The other guy put in his two weeks notice his final day will be the 28th." I then went to check my email. After reading it's contents I said to myself "Fuck!" All requests for time off have been suspended. We went from having 4 full time EMTs to cover the week to only having 2 EMTs. It was nice we had 2 on durring the days, and one on durring the off shifts. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that one of my other guys put in his notice earlier in the month. This month we are getting a double whammy. The worse news. Because of security issues it takes approximatelly 6 months to get any new employee onto my little Island of Misfit toys. Basically I am looking at postponing my plans untill spring of next year... grrr. However it does get slightly better: We do have someone who has been in the system for 3 months allready, and I'll be getting a butt load of OT so I can have more money for when I go down.
