A Puddles New Friend

Recommended Posts

Where I park my car every day at work there is a puddle of water that just never goes away. At first the water drove me nuts because I would always get my wheels wet when getting out of my car. But slowly over time I have become unaware of the puddle. Only recently did I start to think about the puddle again and how much it needed a friend. I mean it must get a little boring doing nothing all day. I hadn't noticed any West Nile Virus carrying mosquitoes (or larva) hanging out with the puddle so I decided I'd get the puddle a friend, someone that wouldn't mind just sitting/floating around all day with the puddle. Attached is a picture I took today of the puddle and its new friend.
I must say though that I am a little worried that the puddle's new friend might get kidnapped tonight. Tonight is the first night they will be sleeping together. Hopefully they'll both be there in the morning. We'll see...

I sent this as an e-mail to several friends of mine and many of them liked it so much I thought I'd share it with everyone here.

That's super cute. Maybe if your puddle and its new friend make it through the night you can introduce one of these into the relationship.:o
