Recommended Posts

In 1849, legendary composer Frederic Francois Chopin, a
music prodigy who composed over 225 pieces, mostly for piano,
died at the age of 39.

In 1931, Thomas Edison, whose inventions include the phono-
graph and the electric light, died at the age of 84.

In 1994, Martha Raye, a singer, dancer, actress and
comedienne who performed on Broadway, in movies and on
television, died at the age of 78.

Also in 1994, actor Burt Lancaster, who starred in several

"From Here to Eternity," died at the age of 80.
