It's a free download and actually relatively good (for a Microsoft product) www.microsoft.com/antispyware It may clean some of the mess up....I'd recommend a virus scanner too. Also if you are running Windows XP and have administrative rights then you can kick off a system restore Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System restore.
