ChrisL 2 #1 October 21, 2005 Last night I had a dream that I went skydiving. The plane made it to altitude in about a minute and I barely had time to get my rig on before diving out the door. Unfortunately I was so tired that I fell asleep in freefall and didnt wake up until my Cypres fired my reserve and opening shock woke me up. At that point I was below 100 ft. and had barely enough time to even grab the toggles before burning into a field at a pretty high speed with no flare. I walked away without a scratch but I was really pissed because my reserve was a teeny unrecognizable yellow thing and I paid for a red PD 218R. That had me thinking of my rigger who has a collection of complete rigs going ~30 years back. Anyway, last night I dreamed I was going to try jumping his Para Commander. Only problem was I had to ask him all the questions. He wouldn't volunteer any information. I specifically had to ask how to use the capewells or whatever equivalent I dreamed up. Last thing I remember I was sitting next to him in a Porter. He was flying it. Only thing is that he is not a pilot and we have no Porters in Denmark.
