why don't you try and read my answers?

Why don't you try to understand that there is no possible right answer?

What is called for is an apology. That's all. A simple apology.

Instead, you have tried to justify it, make light of it, defend it.

It is worse than inappropriate; it is indefensible, it is mean.

Just apologize or stfu.

Can I make it any plainer than that?

if there is no right answer, why should i shut the fuck up and do what you say?... surely, i'm as right as you are

You misunderstand me.

There is no excuse for what you wrote. You continue to try to justify it.

My reference to "answer" arises from your use in describing those attempts.

There is no right answer. An apology is not an answer. Show some sensitivity, admit when you are wrong, apologize.

Dear Jenn,

In all the peripheral nonsense surrounding this thread, I have not told you how sorry I am about Sam.

I understand how painful it is to lose an animal family member, and I feel very badly for you that you have to go through this.

The only comfort I can offer is that you gave Sam a good and happy life in a world where many animals are left to suffer without having even their most basic needs for food and shelter met.

By loving and caring for Sam all these years, you have done a good and kind act, and you've been blessed with the unconditional love that our furry friends return to us in bountiful measure.

Take care. I'm sorry for your loss.

if you really want to know.... i donate a LARGE sum of money to this place...

http://www.obanrarebreeds.com/

its on the west coast of Scotland. i actually love animals. they bring a large amount of happiness into my life. i have relatives in Scotland, so get to go to the rare breeds place quite often from Nottingham, where i live. My comments were a joke, very misplaced i'd agree, but a joke none the less. If any of you got beyond internet realities, and actually met me, you'd find me just like the majority on here, a normal, up for a laugh, geeza

and rhonda, you're still a fox ;)

A really cool thing that a good friend of mine did when she lost her black lab after 17yrs was to make a really wonderful scrapbook. Enlarge the cool pics, maybe turn a few into black and white, include the special moments in his and your lives. It helped her work thru the grief process and she has a beautiful momento to keep on the coffee table or break out when she is blue.

I am sorry for your loss. I too am an animal lover. I have four dogs. I love them all dearly and they are all so different. I have had pets my whole life and the first thing I did when I left home as an "adult" was to get myself a pet. They really do make a house a home.

No. I actually ate my dog. It was tasty.

Now I'm fattening up another one. This one is a chinese mut with a black tongue. Looks very digestable.

You know what... that's not funny. It' s insensitive and mean. I know you really have a huge heart so why not show it. Keep it up and the dog is coming to live with us permanently.

Squink--- sorry for your loss. I had to put a cat to sleep before and it was literally one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life.

Sorry. Not recently, but when I was 21 the cat I had since 6 years old died. 24 years later it still makes me wanna EDIT: IGNORE "WANNA" cry to think about it. Didn't get another cat(s) until 10 years ago. I hate to think of the day when they get old and die, but whaddaya do? You helped your pup have a good life. Just hang in there.
