I was in sandals and shorts. I remember the days of living in Baghdad and the odd mortar shell landing near me. Then hearing a few car bombs and IED's each day off in the distance. Up here..............I just get some traffic noise from the street. I've only heard one gun shot in the past 5 months or so. I DID drive right by an IED the other day though.
