yardhippie 0 #1 October 27, 2005 Ok, so Ive got my vid all done, its huge (uncompressed) nearly 7gig. its in an .avi format, and heres my problem. When i try to export to "movie" on adobe premier, the files are too large to burn to a CD. i dont have a DVD authoring program, and I cant export to my DV camera cuz I dont have a firewire card on my laptop, and premier wont recongnise the camera unless its through a firewire link any suggestions? Help, ive worked to hard to be stopped now dammit! erikzero 0 #2 October 27, 2005 OK here is an idea i use premier pro also and had that problem. First thing to so is to SAVE THAT MOVIE and get it off that pc. You can't burn the a movie dvd but I bet you can burn it on a dvd as a windows media file or realplayer. Do that, now you can use that file on any pc. Go to a friends house and use their dvd auth. prog. or buy a cheap video editing program just to make the dvd, as cheap as $30. Now that you made it a media file you can import it to any editing program. and you will not loose any quality. Im headed to the DZ in 4 hours! once home I could easily network the computers and use the card to export to my DV camera, then i can do what ever I want with it. thanks for the help tho.
