American Business the French way

My French girlfriend is doing a report for her masters on America and Six Sigma (I know there has been discussions about Six Sigma here). She is in France, doing her report for the French.

So she asks me:
-can you give me your opinion aboutsomething?
-the last part is about inquiring why Six Sigma is only implemeneted in American companies

so how would you define American companies, regarding their way of doing business and culture????


What do you all think? I know what google says, I am just wondering if you all have an opinion (or other sources)
