For some reason, a number of my guy friends have a particular turn-on for Asian women. It turns out, so does one of my brothers. My best friends from both college and law school both had a thing for Asian women and one is married to one while the other divorced one and is engaged to another one. (Another interesting thing - most of the white guys I know who have a preference for Asian women have blue eyes, and it seems that each of these Asian women have all talked about first being attracted to the "blue eyes." There may be something going on with some mutuality in likes and desires)

In looking at my dating history, I've been pretty much equal opportunity (though I'd not dated anyone under 30 (until my current wife - who was 29) since I was 24) dater. I used to prefer blondes in my younger years, but I seem to have favored darker hair and skin in the last 5 years or so, with one exception.

But, there seems to be a pretty good size of the population who look to one race or another (I'm including same race in this, too - there are plenty of foks who won't date outside of their race).

I'd be interested to see what preferences there are. Not for any other reason than to satisfy my curiosity and to see a discussion of why some races or ethnicities just turn you on or off.

Note: the descritors of race were taken from the US Census classifications.

Without clueing them in. Ask your friends that have an affinity for Asian women if they prefer younger women to older women. I'd put money that they all prefer younger women. They may even have a strong attraction to teenagers.

Personally I am more attracted to older white women. Especially redheads. However, a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman regardless of her ethnicity. BTW I am half asian, half white.

For some reason I attract the Hispanic/Latino ethnicity. Personally I really don't have a certain ethnicity that I am attracted to.

I've noticed that I tend to be attracted mostly to Caucasian (white) men, but I would definitely date various nationalities. It's the man and his character, not his ethnicity that matters to me.

I'm asian, 100% Vietnamese and no I don't have blue eyes.......however, I would not date Vietnamese men (Vietnamese men are a whole other subject line).

I've dated and will continue to date all other races/ethnicities.

I dont prefer any race/ethnicity.
I have been attracted to many different colors and creeds over the years, but have only dated caucasian (mostly) women. While some of them may have a heritige not anglo-saxon.

as far as the other date rising. I somtimes refer to those of Spanish decent as "hispanic" mainly because to refer to someone from Spain as "mexican" is offensive, and vise-versa. I perfer no to refer to any one race, color or creed in a way that indicates family hertiage or country of origin.

I have been to Venezuela and see the palest red heads ever, and in Germany met some folks of Spanish decent, and other examples in other countries.

to refer to me as white, I could take offense b/c of my cherokee indian heritage, but I do not. Its not a big deal.
