tso-d_chris 0 #1 October 28, 2005 I would like to make some PDF forms into PDF forms with fillable (using Adobe Reader) fields. I am using Acrobat 6.0.4 Professional Is this possible? If so, how do I do it? Many thanks.
mnealtx 0 #2 October 28, 2005 Evidently, it is only possible with Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Content Server. Quote(From Acrobat Pro 6 help file) "Adobe PDF forms contain special fields that let you type text or select options. To fill out a PDF form, the author of the PDF form document must have set up the document in Adobe Acrobat Professional or the Acrobat Content Server with appropriate form fields. If you can't type text in form fields or select options, contact the author of the PDF form."Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. mnealtx 0 #4 October 28, 2005 I completely missed you mentioning Pro, sorry!! I'm about off-shift, but I can try to check into it tomorrow for you, if you like. It seems to have something to do with attributes in the text areas, from what I could see from the help file...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. tso-d_chris 0 #5 October 28, 2005 You didn't miss me mentioning Pro; I edited the original post to clarify. My bad, not yours. I've been looking through the help files, but have had little luck. I'll play with it awhile longer, at least until I get frustrated. Thanks. For Great Deals on Gear
