BillyVance 35 #1 September 28, 2005 I only started watching this show in the last few episodes of the first season, and now just watched tonight's show. It's freaking brilliant, and hilarious too! A mute cello player going to court claiming assault by a perp? So what does she do? Talk with the cello in court! So when opposing counsel (Candice Bergen) stands up to question her, she strikes up the Jaws theme song... ouch... After questioning is finished and Candice heads back to her table, cello player strikes up the "Wicked Witch of the West's" song... double ouch... boinky 0 #2 September 28, 2005 Damn...I can't believe I missed the season premier. I watched most of them last year. Shatner and the other male lawyer are awesome! What's up with adding Heather Locklear for a show's opener, though? Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? (RIP Buzz) Yep, you're a postwhore-billyvance
BillyVance 35 #3 September 28, 2005 Quote What's up with adding Heather Locklear for a show's opener, though? She was accused of being a black widow, killing her 70 year old husband. Apparently he drank some nitro-laced tea, which combined with his Viagra dosage, gave him a heart attack... James Spader fought for her in court and boy does he have BALLS! It's like he said at one point in the show "I'm a mercenary for $500 an hour." lawrocket 3 #6 September 28, 2005 I find it to be a pretty good show. It's not a totally realistic view of the legal practice, but entertaining nonetheless. Mostly, I really have to hand it to Shatner. The guy is a comedic genius. I really admire how he took every stereotype about his acting, hammed them all up, and then marketed himself that way. He is absolutely hilarious in that show. One episode, his character said something to Candice Bergen's and she said, "Come again?" He replied, "Don't say that - it puts too much pressure on me." I love it! My wife is hotter than your wife.
BillyVance 35 #7 September 28, 2005 What's sad is Shatner had 25 or 30 years to use his comedy skills, and he's just now getting warmed up... He's a riot on that show! A few years back I saw him on Third Rock from the Sun. He was f&*king hysterical!! It was an episode where "The Big Giant Head" visits them on earth, and he played the big giant head guy. BillyVance 35 #10 October 5, 2005 Just watched tonight's Boston Legal. It featured the conclusion of the Black Widow trial with Heather Locklear facing a murder charge. William Shatner was awesome! During a meeting at the bench that the judge called after Crane had made a sarcastic remark within earshot during the trial, Crane says "I've got mad cow disease. I think the judge does too. Look at his eyes." And there the judge sits seething and doing everything possible to restrain from an outburst... What balls! Vintage Shatner! BillyVance 35 #11 November 2, 2005 Tonight's episode of Boston Legal had a Halloween costume party at the end. Denny and Alan were dressed at fuzzy pink flamingos. Alan: "you look pretty in pink" Denny: "I'm not having sex with you" "Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
