We're just one of a bunch of countries that have been created by the inclusion of wide, diverse peoples (oh... just like America... only a wee bit earlier). Our language is a bastardisation (note no Z as in ZED) of many, many cultures over the milenia.. That's COOL. We increase our culture, not decrease it. One doesn't have to embrace all of the tid-bits (Aghhhhh 11/9 not 9/11 for example or colour not color).. but dont get bent out of shape over it.
