Is it legal? http://www.allofmp3.com/ --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
Slappie 9 #2 November 6, 2005 Ya know I have no clue if it's legal or not. But those prices make iTunes look like a massive rip off. bertusgeert 1 #4 November 6, 2005 Thas true, This is pretty much like buying a CD though, you don't have to go search and struggle and get a bunch of junk. Sign up for $10, whith which you can also buy music, and you can listen to anything streaming for free. --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei! GTAVercetti 0 #5 November 6, 2005 The legality is sketchy but you will not be getting in trouble here because it is Russian and RIAA is not that far reaching. The Russian equivalent to the RIAA tried to sue them but lost because the law in Russia only applies to HARD copy (records, cassettes) and not internet yet. And with the way shit is going in Russia, I highly doubt that law will be changing anytime soon. Just do a google search..plenty of info. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
unformed 0 #6 November 6, 2005 the site is russian .. russia doesn't have copyright laws ... it says the same thing in its legal info ... they are not responsible for non-russian users of the siteThis ad space for sale.
atsaubrey 0 #7 November 6, 2005 Yes it seems to work very well...althougha bit slower on downloads than other services. I am very happy with the service."GOT LEAD?"
bob.dino 1 #8 November 6, 2005 It's legal, but only because of a hole in Russian copyright law. When you buy songs from them, the artists & record-labels don't get compensation. That said, you can get your music in all sorts of nice formats like VBR MP3 and OGG. Much better than iTunes in that respect.
