I use GatorZ for work and for play.

I like them because they are built a bit sturdier. The Wiley-X is plastic and tend to break in rough environements.

The Army even has a plan to test the GatorZ as a replacement for the Wiley-X (but don't tell any one)

An Instructors first concern is student safety.

I use WileyX riding my motorcycle. I needed prescription lenses. I got the SG1 with two sets of RX lenses, clear and tinted. Very happy with them.

My skin has an allergic reaction to most metals, so I have to go with WileyX.

My face is too small for Wileys. I looked like Cartman when he put on those police shades.

But beyond my own small face, I like them both. Gatorz look cooler, but they also cost twice as much or more . . . so when I lost my Wileys on opening one time, I didn't sob.

I have never used the gator z, but i had a pair of Wiley X goggles when i was in Iraq. No i wasn't Skydiving, but i wish i was. The Wiley X goggles fogged up constantly. I went back to using the great big issued goggles.
