GTAVercetti 0 #1 November 10, 2005 I used to drink Meal Replacement shakes with my workout regime but I have started slacking with lifting. Now I want to get back into it, but the cost of MRP's are ludicrous. Does anyone have a recipe for a homemade meal replacement powder? I do not want any shake recipes; I got that handled. What I need is a good powder recipe so that I can take it with me and mix with milk or water whenever needed. I want to start with a whey protein base, but am not sure what else to add that would be cost effective. Alternatively, anyone know some good MRP's that are cheap? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
ReBirth 0 #2 November 10, 2005 Can't help with your question, but do they actuallly work to satisfy appetite? I'm usually ravenous after lifting. Lately I've been grabbing a sashimi sampler platter an hour after lifting and that works wonders. But a shake would be cheaper I'm sure.

The one I was using would keep me going till my next meal (6 a day at least). Usually when I am lifting well, I am eating about 3500 calories a day and there is NO WAY I could eat that much solid food. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
