jumpergirl 0 #1 November 10, 2005 When I graduated 10 years ago, I received a small scholarship from a Marine Corp group since my father, grandfather, and grandmother were all Marines. I requested the information again this year hoping I could qualify again. However, it is only offered to graduating seniors. It takes a while to get the information. I have it now, so if there are any graduating student who are children or grandchildren of an honorably discharged Marine, let me know and I'll send this to you so maybe you can get a little help with your college tuition. I have spent the last 10 years going to school at night when I can and still don't have a degree. I hope someone can use this and can get a scholarship to help them get started. It's as simple as requesting the info, but it does take a while to get it. The sooner you get it back to them, the better you are. You have to write a short essay about why you deserve it, but that's much easier than coming up with the money to pay tuition.
