jdthomas 0 #26 November 12, 2005 My girlfriend (who is a skydiver)went by the pawn shop yesterday and she was told that she could only view the rigs on ebay as they where not available. I am not sure that they would be stolen if Chris can get them to send copys of the packing data cards, I mean after all they have contact names on the cards. kansasskydiver 0 #27 November 12, 2005 It didn't show the name on the card, but gave all the info as to who packed it. Peuster was the last packing and I contacted him. He knows who the owner was/is and is going to contact him hopefully. As for the pawn shop, that's really shitty that they wouldnt' let you see it, very weird. RhondaLea 4 #29 November 13, 2005 QuoteLuckily I knew a skydiver who had a pawn shop. Of course I didn't get any special treatment, but he was very cool about it and promised not to let anything happen to it. I got it back about 6 months later. I knew a guy who pawned his rig because his crack habit had outrun his need to skydive. He never went back for it. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. I'm sure you weren't suggesting it, but that MOST DEFINITELY was not why I had to pawn mine. I decided I'd rather pay my rent and have a place to live and have electricity and water and food, than a rig I wasn't jumping at the time anyway. I got the impression from your post that it was never intended to be more than a temporary measure. In the other guy's case, he just didn't give a shit. At the time, crack was the end all and be all, and the rig didn't matter. He found a pawn shop and he dumped it. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.
