When they had Matt Jones, they were tough to figure out. This year's team has been pretty bad despite a great rushing offense. Anvilbrother 0 #55 November 13, 2005 SO how did that LSU/BAMA game end up??? I was getting so sick and tired of those damn announcers. All they talked about was Bama, and after lsu made a great play, the would say something good about Bama. There should have been about 10 holding calls on Bama' D-fence. We watched the ref in the white hat watch at least 10 holds right in front of his face. And I have never seen so many catches go to review before. I think both teams need better kickers tho. You guys had a good long game with people that could catch like glue. The short guy that carried the ball with the last 2 seconds to go scared the hell out of me he was going 150% towards that endzone. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Glen Coffee, one of our running backs. He's gonna have a nice career at Alabama in the next 3 years. The game went to OT. Bama got a 5 yard penalty on 1st and 10, then on 3rd and 2 tries to pass to Darby (incomplete) so we kick the field goal. LSU gets their shot. On 3rd and 6, JaMarcus zings a pass to Bowe from the 11 yard line, TD. Game over. It was a heck of a game. It sucks to lose, but I'm proud of the Tide. We're still 2 years away from getting back to full scholarship numbers after the probation ended and we're 9 - 1, even after losing our 2 best offensive players to broken legs earlier in the season. I'll be damned, however, if we're gonna find a way to beat Auburn this Saturday on The Plains. Stranger things have happened though. I thought Georgia had 'em, but nooooo... What I just don't understand is how the fuck does LSU lead Tennessee by 21 points, and let Tenn come back and win in OT???? That's the worst Tenn team I've seen in a long time. Anyway, my bet is for LSU to beat Georgia in the SEC title game by a score of 20 to 16 or something similar. Oh and by the way, if we'd had the instant review rule last year, LSU would have been busted for pass interference on that interception in the end zone. That non-call turned the game around for LSU. No telling whether Bama would have beaten them then, but officials can't be perfect all the time. Calls and non-calls go either way in almost every game.
