Smilie 0 #1 October 31, 2005 Ok, so nothing THAT crazy happened there this weekend, but it was a pretty cool halloween weekend at a smaller DZ. Wr flew the caravan, Big Bird, had many new bird people, tried hybryds, drank beer, and dressed up like a bunch of crazy people! There was a giant sperm, a sexy nerd with a horny dog, neon stick people, a couple of pimps, a french maid, pirates aplenty, a vampire, a convict, and a hippy, to name a few! Oh, and the grim reaper paid a visit as well! Over all, ever time I have jumped Richland, I find that it is a fun place to be... Every second weekend of the winter months this year, that is where I will be! Ciao, Jess ... Fear not death. Fear instead the unlived life.

NWFlyer 2 #3 October 31, 2005 I gotta say I give Richland props! What a great DZ ... beautiful landing area, wonderful people, and (at least this weekend) fabulous weather. I'll definitely head over more, especially this winter when the weather is crappy on our side of the mountains. FYI - I know you, like most skydivers, detest the taste of beer, but this coming Saturday night is the Tri-Cities annual "Hoppy Holidays Winter Brewfest". A bunch of us jumpers went last year after a day of jumping and it got excessively drunk out that night. Plans are for a repeat performance this year. It's threatening to actually be *nice* in the Seattle metro area this weekend, and since I haven't jumped up here since before the Byron Boogie, it'd be nice to stick around. But if the weather turns and/or I get inspired to make a 3-hour drive to get shitty drunk on good beer with you, I'll let you know.
