Firefox HELP!

Okay, so I went to download the Google toolbar for Firefox, and it said I didn't have the most recent version.

So I downloaded and installed the most recent version (1.0.7) and now I'm getting "The connection was refused when trying to connect to www.google.com" (and any other page I try to connect to).

WTF did it do to my settings? Help! I hate IE. It's making my skin crawl just to use it to post this.

Okay, never mind. Rebooting solved the problem.

But if a reboot is required, they oughta tell me that!

I'm posting from a terminal session on one of my servers at a colo facility, since my home IP address is blocked by dropzone.com for some reason.

I ask questions so as not to assume.
