Bulgari Watches?

I just bought a watch here in Iraq for $30. From what I can tell it's a Bulgari AL29btavd_sln. Any idea how I tell if it's real or a copy?

I know you can tell Rolexes by the movement of the second hand. It ticks if fake and doesn't tick if real. What does yours do?

Other than that take it to a jeweler whe you get back.

Original Bulgari watches are very expensive.

You don't buy a real Bulgari watch for $30. If it was stolen even a half witted fence will want a few hundred bucks minimum.

The thing with the motion of the sweep handle is bull shit too - the Chinks put very cheap mechanical movements into the fake Rollo's they manufacture.

Want to buy a good watch - buy it at a decent jeweler in the US. BTW. you will get the best deal if you buy second hand and bargain hard!

Dude.............this guy sells NO SHIT Breitlings for $400. A friend bought one and took it back to the states to be inspected by a jeweler. I'm buying a G Shock when I get home. I need all the crazy functions for my work. This was just a "Hey that looks cool.............I think I'll buy it." thing. Damn near got shot doing it though!

I'll sell you this one al29btavd_sln for $25. Hey it's even cheaper then the one you just bought and mines real! You just have to print mine and cut it out.

I worked in the UAE for 3 months back in the mid 90's. Hated every second of it. All the natives were rich mofos and everyone working was imported workers from India, Paki, Afgan etc.. Then you have the US companies doing business there. I bought some cool shit while over there. Come to find out 95% of everything I bought was fake though.

I was talking about reputable duty free type places at the airport. Yes, normally these places are a tourist trap, but from what I heard, Dubai was the exception.
