tumbler 0 #1 November 17, 2005 a standing bet with my brother in law… He is an avid Raiders fan and I am just as much a Bronco fan… so here is the bet. The teams play twice a year, if the season series is split, the bet is off. If one team sweeps the series, then the loser has to buy the winner dinner at the restaurant of the winner’s choice. The catch is he lives in California and I live in New York. So the winner also picks the city we meet in for the chow…. Thus far we have hit; Bar Harbor for Lobster New Orleans for Papadoes Cajun food McAllen Texas for some TexMex Portland Oregon for Salmon Kansas City for steak Now this year we have expanded the bet to any major city in the world… As the Broncos are up one game and should win the next one at home, I am looking for some good ideas as to exploit this lose… Was thinking: Rio de Janeiro for a fine South American cuisine Or Madrid for some Paella Any ideas? AggieDave 6 #2 November 17, 2005 Hmmmm... Could I borrow $50? Ok, seriously, that's a cool betting system with your brother-in-law, gets the two of you togehter meeting at various places. How about going to Japan for real sushi? Or Germany for real beer?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Rebecca 0 #3 November 17, 2005 This time of year? Rio, Ipanema, nice Churrascaria right across from the beach. Flip to green, and pace yourself! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Cornholio 0 #5 November 17, 2005 Do you each have to pay for your own ticket, or does the loser buy both tickets? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
